Confirm your actual FBO before arranging a car
For a private flight, NAS Airport is not a complete vehicle meeting address. NAS and MYNN identify Lynden Pindling International Airport on New Providence; they do not identify the handling facility for your aircraft. An FBO, or fixed-base operator, provides services for private and business aviation. Ask your flight operator or crew which facility is handling this arrival and what passenger pickup instructions apply. Do not replace those instructions with the commercial terminal pin used for a previous airline trip.
Odyssey Aviation or Jet Nassau: confirm the facility for this flight
LPIA lists Odyssey Aviation and Jet Nassau as private flight service providers. Odyssey Aviation Nassau describes its own road entrance on Coral Harbour Road, separate from the main terminal approach. These are reasons to identify the actual facility, not to assume that either one is interchangeable with the other. Obtain the current road meeting location from the responsible flight or handling contact and pass the same instructions to your transport provider. A facility name alone does not establish a driver's access permissions.
Use the Nassau location, not another island's facility
Odyssey Aviation has facilities at more than one Bahamian airport. Include Nassau and NAS/MYNN in the itinerary so a brand name does not send someone to the wrong location. If your private aircraft lands on another island, that is not a Nassau airport road pickup. Likewise, a separate onward flight from Nassau has its own departure arrangements. Ask the flight operator to confirm each airport and handling point rather than treating every Bahamas private-flight arrival as the same journey.
Coordinate the flight and the permitted road pickup
Prepare one consistent set of trip details for the flight contact and transport provider: Nassau local date and estimated arrival time, the confirmed FBO, the agreed flight reference or aircraft registration, a reachable lead contact, passenger count, luggage and final destination. Ask which identifier the provider can use to follow this flight; do not assume a private aircraft is tracked in the same way as a scheduled airline service. Share necessary personal information through the intended private channel, without placing passport copies or accommodation access codes in general enquiry notes.
Confirm access, waiting and changes explicitly
Ask where passengers and the vehicle may meet, who will relay a revised arrival time, when any included waiting starts and what happens if the plan changes. A flight delay, aircraft substitution or different FBO can require a new pickup agreement. The FBO's operating arrangements do not establish a particular driver's availability. Keep both contacts accessible and make sure the written transport confirmation reflects the latest instructions, including any additional charge. The flight operator and handling facility remain responsible for their own procedures.
A VIP vehicle does not establish planeside access
A private car or VIP SUV label describes a proposed road vehicle, not permission to enter an aircraft operating area. Do not assume a driver can meet beside the aircraft, escort passengers through formalities or collect bags inside a restricted area. Any special access or assistance must be expressly agreed with the responsible parties and may be unavailable. Complete the arrival steps required by the flight operator, handler and authorities before continuing to the agreed road meeting point. A transport booking does not remove those requirements.
Plan the journey to your exact destination
Name the actual receiving hotel or residence, not just Nassau, Atlantis or a beach area. For a villa, provide the address, approved entrance and receiving contact. Albany, Lyford Cay and Old Fort Bay can require access arrangements with the host or community; an airport pickup confirmation cannot override a controlled gate. Paradise Island is road connected to New Providence, while other Bahamian islands require a separate air or sea journey. Confirm which part of the trip the road provider has actually agreed to perform.
Choose the vehicle and fare for this particular journey
List every passenger, including children, and describe suitcases, golf equipment or other large items. Our regular calculator covers up to three Standard passengers or four VIP passengers, both subject to luggage; larger parties require an individual quote. Those capacities do not confirm a vehicle for an FBO pickup. Do not treat a regular airport planning estimate as a confirmed FBO fare. Obtain the provider's written acceptance of the pickup location, vehicle, complete price, waiting allowance and destination before relying on the arrangement.
Confirm the return as a separate journey
Ask the flight operator which FBO will handle departure and when passengers must report there. Do not assume the arrival facility, aircraft or schedule will be unchanged. Give the road provider the precise hotel entrance or authorised villa gate, luggage count and updated departure instructions. Work backwards from the flight operator's reporting requirement, adding the road journey and a suitable margin. Confirm a new itinerary if anything changes; the arrival ride does not automatically reserve a return or establish its price.
Private-flight pickup questions
Is NAS Airport enough as my pickup location?
No. Confirm the actual FBO and permitted meeting point with your flight operator or crew, then ensure your transport provider has accepted the same instructions. An airport code does not identify the handling facility or establish vehicle access.
Does a VIP SUV booking include planeside pickup?
No. Vehicle class does not establish airside access. Any special access or assistance needs explicit confirmation from the responsible parties. This website does not promise an FBO partnership, an airside permit or collection beside the aircraft.
Plan your Nassau arrival with the pickup guide. Our operations will start in January 2027; booking and WhatsApp actions are currently paused. This article does not establish an available FBO pickup service. For an existing flight and transfer, use your confirmed flight operator, handler and transport provider to agree the arrangements.
