A Baha Mar and Atlantis split stay: plan three separate journeys

Airport arrival, the hotel change and the return to NAS need their own addresses, dates and quotes. Here is a practical split-stay checklist.

Write the three legs before comparing fares

A traveller arriving at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and leaving from The Reef at Atlantis has three journeys: NAS to Grand Hyatt, Grand Hyatt to The Reef, and The Reef to NAS. A round-trip airport estimate does not price or reserve the middle leg. Put each date, receiving hotel, passenger count and luggage inventory on the request so the team can review the itinerary as a whole.

Make the hotel change a real handover

Ask the first hotel about checkout and luggage storage, and the second about when it can receive your bags. If the room is not ready, a transfer to reception still ends the car journey. Shopping, sightseeing or waiting for room access must be separately agreed. At Baha Mar name Grand Hyatt, SLS or Rosewood; at Atlantis identify the actual tower rather than a resort-wide pin.

Decide whether one vehicle still fits

A party may accumulate luggage or add relatives between stays. Recheck the car’s passenger and cargo capacity for every leg. A wedding group splitting across several hotels may need a van, multiple cars or extra lobby stops. Ask for a complete route quote instead of assuming a direct airport fare will cover an inter-hotel tour.

Calculate departure from the final hotel

Use the return drive from Paradise Island, not the shorter airport-side journey that brought you to Baha Mar. Add bridge and downtown traffic margins to the airline’s airport reporting time. LPIA advises at least three hours at the airport before U.S.-bound flights and two before other international services. Confirm the final pickup point and Nassau local time with the provider.
