Nassau Airport transfers with children and car seats

Count every passenger, request the right child restraint and choose luggage space for strollers as well as suitcases.

NAS Airport Transfer editorial team · Reviewed 18 October 2026

Every child is a passenger

Include babies and children in the total group size. Give each child’s age and the restraint requirement when requesting a quote, and share size information privately with the provider if needed to confirm fit. Do not assume a lap-held child creates an extra available passenger seat.

Ask for a confirmed restraint

Request the appropriate infant seat, child seat or booster before travel. Ask the provider to confirm the type, quantity, installation and charge in writing. A booking-form request is not proof of availability, and our planning child-seat allowance is not a statement of Bahamian legal requirements. Bring your own suitable restraint if the arrangement cannot be confirmed.

Strollers change the vehicle choice

List folded strollers, travel cots and large cases separately. The number of seat belts is not the same as usable passenger capacity once luggage is loaded. Our small-vehicle estimates cover up to three Standard or four VIP passengers, subject to luggage; families exceeding that need a custom vehicle quote.

Plan a calm airport handover

Keep the confirmation and dispatcher contact accessible while one adult manages luggage. If baggage collection runs late, tell the provider before the waiting allowance expires. For the return, allow time to fit the restraint and load the car before the agreed departure, then account for your airline’s reporting requirement.
