NASSAU TRANSFER PLANNING

Different flights into NAS: one transfer or two cars?

A shared private car can work when arrival times align, but flight delays, different arrivals and luggage change the plan.

Compare ready-to-leave times rather than landing times

Two flights landing twenty minutes apart do not guarantee that both parties reach the vehicle together. One group may be collecting checked bags or arriving internationally while the other has a domestic arrival. Supply both operating flight numbers, local dates and the number of passengers on each. Ask the provider whether a single receiving plan is workable.

Agree what happens when one flight is late

Choose a lead contact and a maximum planned wait. Ask when the waiting allowance starts, whether it applies to both flights and what a second vehicle would cost if the plan splits. The earlier party should not leave its confirmed receiving area in search of the other group without current instructions. Keep both travellers and the provider informed if the airline changes an itinerary.

Combine people, bags and hotel stops

A car that fits one couple may not fit two couples with full luggage. Our small Standard estimate is for up to three passengers and VIP for up to four, subject to bags; more people need a custom vehicle quote. If the groups stay at different hotels, identify each lobby and agree the order and cost of the additional stop.

Two vehicles can be the clearer arrangement

Separate cars can avoid a long wait and give each party its own pickup instructions. Compare the complete cost and convenience rather than assuming that one larger vehicle is always cheaper. For the return, flight schedules may differ even more: calculate each party’s airport reporting requirement independently before deciding whether another combined journey makes sense.
